About Us

Our Service

Diagnosing and treating sleep disorders including Sleep Apnoea has been made easier with our Home Sleep Study and comprehensive care plan.

Our Home Sleep Study is similar to that of a laboratory sleep study however you sleep in the comfort of your own home.

Our non-invasive study will find whether you have any type of Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) that could be chronically affecting your health. By reviewing your sleep physiology recorded on our sleep-monitoring device, a thorough understanding of your sleep is developed. This allows our Sleep Specialist to diagnose any sleep disorders including Sleep Apnoea and develop a tailored patient care plan that provides you with ongoing treatment, management and support.

To participate in our sleep study, ask you referring doctor or specialist to assess your suitability based on your identified symptoms and other medical conditions. We have no waiting lists and the sleep study will be bulk billed for qualifying patients.

Our Care Plan

Identifying a Sleeping Disorder

The first step in your Care Plan is to discuss any concerns or symptoms of any sleep disorders, including Sleep Apnoea, with your doctor. This involves getting a referral from your doctor to undertake a Home Sleep Study with Medsleep.

Home Sleep Study

Our Home Sleep Study is similar to that of a laboratory sleep study however you undertake the sleep study in the comfort of your own home.

Our Sleep Technician will provide you with further information on Sleep Apnoea and detailed instructions on how to set up the sleep-monitoring device before taking it home. You will then return the sleep-monitoring device to have your data downloaded and your results assessed by an independent Sleep Specialist. Your doctor will discuss the results with you and if Sleep Apnoea is diagnosed we will develop a tailored care plan for your ongoing treatment, management and support.

Treatment

If the test comes back with a diagnosis of OSA, we will follow the Sleep Specialist’s recommendation and develop a tailored care plan.

The most common and effective treatment for OSA is Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy. If this is deemed appropriate for you, Medsleep offers the latest range of masks and machines for trial and sale. We will provide continuous support with a Sleep Technician being available to meet and speak with you as often as required.

Medsleep will also help you with the equipment, offer advice or answer any questions you might in order to meet all your needs. We will also perform regular service on your sleep apnoea equipment and as part of our service, we will offer payment plans on your treatment device.

Other options are available in the care plan including but not limited to health and lifestyle programs and dental devices and surgery.

Support

Whether you are just starting out our treatment or have been treated for years, our Sleep Technician’s will always be available to offer advice and to help you with all your needs.

Our long-term support for your care and CPAP Treatment includes:

  • Ongoing advice and support
  • Equipment servicing including parts and upgrades
  • Free temporary loan machines when receiving upgrades or repairs that require sending offsite.
  • Continual treatment reviews and alterations as needed
  • CPAP device assessments to monitor the treatments effectiveness
  • Annual follow ups with our Sleep Technician to evaluate treatments

Timely Care Plan

We at Medsleep understand timeliness and convenience are just as important as the quality of care and accuracy of our evaluation. That’s why we have streamlined our process to have the expected time from the point of your doctor’s referral to the point of treatment take no longer than 4-6 weeks.
